UPCOMING EXHIBITION
INCOMPLETE DIORAMA
By Artist Taz Witkamp
Please join us as we welcome local Australian landscape artist Taz Witkamp to the Melaleuca gallery with Incomplete Diorama.
This latest body of work by Taz was inspired by the chaotic pockets of bushland which often go un-noticed, and challenges the viewer to consider the intricate landscapes we take for granted. She experiments with unharnessed lines and shapes, fresh from moment in time, making purposeful marks which echo her movements over the canvas.
These experimental new works were driven by a sense of urgency, to capture a world on the brink in the face of so much change. Frustrated by the perfection of AI, Taz chose to leave parts of the works raw and incomplete, to bring you something authentically human.
This body of work is a love letter to the South Coast, and a witness statement to a world changing from beneath her brush.
Exhibition runs from Wednesday 2nd of September 2026 to Saturday 10th of October 2026
A destination for art, wellness, and intimate gatherings, Melaleuca invites guests to immerse themselves in beautiful surroundings and unforgettable experiences.
This project received support from the NSW Government’s tourism and major events agency Destination NSW, through the 2020 - 2021 Experience Enhancement Fund.
