Our wedding venue, The Hereford, provides everything you need to host your celebration — with the freedom to create an experience that reflects your style.

Originally a Poll Hereford cattle stable complex, The Hereford is now a light-filled, high-roofed timber and iron structure featuring polished concrete floors, striking Scribbly gum timber columns, and wide decks that flow onto expansive lawns. Set in a scenic location, the venue overlooks a private lake, tall tree stands, rolling pastures, and the lush native bushland of Jervis Bay National Park.

Treat your guests to canapés and cocktails on the lawns as the sun sets, then move seamlessly into your reception. Whether you choose a celebration inside The Hereford, an outdoor dining experience beneath the stars, or even a marquee reception, the options are endless.

We provide all the facilities you need, plus the flexibility to choose your own suppliers or work with our trusted curated list of recommended professionals who know the estate well.

  • “Worrowing Estate was the perfect venue for our wedding, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful and memorable setting. Our ceremony took place in the lush gardens in front of the homestead, surrounded by greenery, which created a magical atmosphere for our vows. For our reception, we celebrated in the Hereford Shed, nestled in the heart of the Australian bushland, which provided a stunning and unique backdrop for our special day.

Brodie, our main point of contact, was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. She was always so helpful and accommodating, offering guidance and support whenever we needed it. On the morning of the wedding, she even took the time to visit us, easing our nerves and delivering a thoughtful gift, which truly went above and beyond.

We would 100% recommend Worrowing Estate to anyone looking for a wedding venue that combines natural beauty with exceptional service. It’s a place that offers both elegance and tranquility, making it the perfect choice for any couple wanting a truly unforgettable wedding experience.”

The accommodation options provided were incredibly cozy and inviting, with exceptionally comfortable beds and plenty of heating for cool winter nights. The venue itself was nothing short of breathtaking, leaving our guests in awe and still raving about it.

The ambiance and atmosphere of Worrowing were simply magical. Surrounded by the beautiful bush, we were treated to a quiet and serene environment, complete with kangaroos roaming around (and a big hit with our guests). The combination of the natural surroundings and the stunning reception area created the perfect setting for our special day.

One aspect that truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were incredibly responsive and always willing to assist, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. Their professionalism and attentiveness added an extra layer of comfort and ease to our wedding experience.

After our wedding, we also had the pleasure of using their coffee van for our recovery breakfast. The coffee was excellent, and the service was prompt, allowing us to finish the weekend on a high note.

Our wedding weekend at Worrowing was a dream come true, and we could not recommend it more highly to anyone considering it for their wedding location. It truly was the perfect destination for our special day.”
