Once a working cattle farm in the 1970s, Worrowing has been lovingly transformed into a natural paradise with 12 boutique accommodations (sleeping up to 41 guests) and wedding facilities for up to 160 guests. Located only 2.5 hours from Sydney and 2 hours from Canberra, it is the perfect destination for an unforgettable celebration.
A wedding at Worrowing offers complete freedom to plan and style your day in a breathtaking coastal hinterland setting. From romantic European-inspired gardens to sweeping open hills and distant mountain views, our estate provides endless variety and spectacular photographic opportunities.
Your celebration includes hire of our elegant venue The Hereford, and onsite accommodation for a three-day, two-night experience. This allows you to experience a true destination celebration - complete with an optional welcome dinner, your dream wedding day, and a relaxed recovery brunch.
ACCOMMODATION
Worrowing accommodates up to 41 guests across 12 beautifully designed boutique stays onsite, allowing you to spend the entire weekend celebrating with your family and friends. Additional guests can be comfortably hosted nearby or at our sister property the Villas of Huskisson, or in local hotels and Airbnbs.
Wedding accommodation is a two-night minimum, with check-in the evening before your wedding and check-out the following day. Many couples and their guests choose to extend their stay, either arriving earlier or staying longer after the recovery brunch, to truly embrace the tranquility of Worrowing and experience the beauty of Jervis Bay.
During their stay, your guests can enjoy a variety of experiences without leaving the estate:
Visit our art gallery and curated retail space
Join a yoga class or arrange a private group session
Wander the grounds and immerse in the natural beauty of the property
Worrowing is renowned for its breathtaking outdoor ceremony locations, with the incredible European-inspired gardens at the heart of the estate. Whether in manicured gardens, beneath avenues of trees, or overlooking rolling hillsides, your guests will be captivated by the beauty of this setting.
In the event of wet weather, we offer elegant options at The Hereford or The Melaleuca (optional add on - coming soon).
CEREMONY SPACES
Explore Our Ceremony Spaces:
The English Gardens surrounding the homestead and the natural coastal beauty of the estate provide an elegant setting for life's beautiful moments.
Our wedding venue, The Hereford, provides everything you need to host your celebration — with the freedom to create an experience that reflects your style.
Originally a Poll Hereford cattle stable complex, The Hereford is now a light-filled, high-roofed timber and iron structure featuring polished concrete floors, striking Scribbly gum timber columns, and wide decks that flow onto expansive lawns. Set in a scenic location, the venue overlooks a private lake, tall tree stands, rolling pastures, and the lush native bushland of Jervis Bay National Park.
Treat your guests to canapés and cocktails on the lawns as the sun sets, then move seamlessly into your reception. Whether you choose a celebration inside The Hereford, an outdoor dining experience beneath the stars, or even a marquee reception, the options are endless.
We provide all the facilities you need, plus the flexibility to choose your own suppliers or work with our trusted curated list of recommended professionals who know the estate well.
